About the Journal

ACS

Asian Communication Studies is a refereed international journal that features cutting-edge scholarship in all areas of communication with a dedicated focus on Asian contexts, perspectives, and communities, thereby contributing to a broader global understanding of communication phenomena. The journal is managed by Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi (ASPIKOM) and is published twice a year.

Asian Communication Studies welcomes submissions of original research articles, theoretical and methodological essays, and book reviews. The journal operates a continuous publication and review process. The review of each manuscript begins upon submission, and accepted papers are published in the earliest available issue.

Launched to provide a premier venue for high-quality communication research, Asian Communication Studies aims to highlight and disseminate rigorous studies on the systems, processes, and impacts of communication within the Asia-Pacific region and across Asian diasporas worldwide. The journal is committed to publishing work that advances empirical findings, develops communication theory, and refines research methodologies from and about Asian contexts.
